Kanakis P.D.O. Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil 30 ml Best before: 20280120 Short description Protected Greek olive oil from Kalamata in a small jar. Pure Koroneiki, cold-pressed and fruity. Product description Kalamata is better known for its olives than for its oil, but Kanakis proves that the region has more to offer. This oil is made from Koroneiki, Greece’s most widely used olive variety, and is cold-pressed at a maximum temperature of 25 °C. This ensures that the fruitiness and aroma travel all the way from the olive grove into the bottle. The flavor is fruity and aromatic. Use it as a finishing oil: a few drops over a Greek salad, feta cheese, grilled vegetables, fish, or pasta will elevate the entire dish. It also works well in everyday cooking, and dipping bread in it is an easy way to get to know the flavor. P.D.O. Kalamata is a Protected Designation of Origin. This means that the oil comes from a specific geographic area and meets the requirements set by the designation. The small 30-ml plastic bottle is perfect as a gift or for a tasting.
